One of the most important events in my opinion was the creation of the hypertext because, as described in the video, it was created to navigate the www in its entirety. Tim Berners-Lee who was credited for the creation of the web, create the hypertext in order so the users, browse easily between the texts of the web pages, using links which has a great impact on the way we surf the internet today. In addition; Hyperlinks connected different web pages. For example; The Hyperlink is a more convenient way to present a work, because, in order not to open several pages, we can in the same work, make a link to a word or image to take us directly to the content we want to show.
Since 1969 to now internet has changed drastically. It started off with only four computers and now it has turned into a intricate network of millions. The major breakthrough for internet happened with the invention of TCP or Transmission Control Protocol in 1971 by Vinton Cerf, which allowed people to send data to each other. Then in 1989 Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web. He did this by using “HYPER TEXT” to navigate the the web and link searches.
